We got the latest edition to the family in June of this year (2006).

Previously I had been instructed "NO MORE CATS!", however after wandering around Woden Plaza and coming across the Brittish Short Hair pussy cats for sale, that "NO MORE CATS!" rule - that was blown out of the water.  We didn't get one there and then, we went home and did some research and found a breeder in Canberra.

We decided that seeing as we were moving house, we'd wait for the next litter of kittens to arrive but just a few weeks later we had a phone call to see if we had moved yet as Sally was getting very attached to this last kitten she had left.  We warned her that if we came over to visit and we liked the look of this kitten we would have to take her there and then and well fuck me dead over an hour later we were on our way home with Turkey.

Whats with the name?  Well seeing as we already had Cougar and Bundy, we thought we should follow suite with alcoholic beverages - so turkey became Turkey.
