It has happened... I got a FaceBook request from someone I just can't place.

I'm at work and check FB from my BlackBerry (anyone else got BlackBerry msgr?) so the photo's etc are damn hard to see.  I did the usual

• Check her home town - yep lived there
• Check her friends to see which ones of her friends I might know - Yep, mates from High School, but her home town in not where we went to high school
• Double check what I can see of her photo - hmm nar no bloody idea
• Back to friends list - hmm yep def highschool friends, some from my year, some from year below
• Msg Smyth - she knows everyone -that didn't work, Smyth just added her because other mates from highschool added her.  She even msged OtherChick from highschool who did the same
• Fuck - Check her photo again -Nope, still not fucken idea - I do realise now however that the time has come to go get an eye check so I might be able to look at these photo's a bit better on my phone
• Fuck this - back to friends list - look at the main group her high school friends would have been in - narrows it down a little but fucked if I know this chicks surname
• Fuck Fuck FUCK - back to friends list - look at geographical location of friends - hmm looks like bus #25 folk
• FUCK IT - back to photo - nope, can only remember two chicks from high school with this first name and only one of them fits with the friends but cause I can't see the photo properly I can't be sure
• TIME TO MSG HER!  I can't use up anymore time at work trying to work out who this is

I was worried about this, not because someone appeared on my facebook that I didn't know, but because what if it was someone from High School and I have forgotten them! I spent 6 years at High School and I doubt our year level ever got over 150 pple at any time, actually I think our Year 12 class was well under 100 pple.  I think I'd feel pretty shit if I msged someone from high school and I was excited to be able to catch up with them only to find out they didn't remember me.

So 5 minutes later I get a msg back, fortunatly she has married and once she told me her high school name I remembered her clearly, she was even in some of my classes... I let Smyth know, so she can let some other curious folk know (they just added her).  So now I can get back to work...
